Author Fannie Flagg holding book event in Huntsville | Arts & Culture
Author Fannie Flagg is making a stop in Huntsville as part of a tour for her new book.
Flagg, known for breakthrough novels such as Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe will be at the Books-A-Million on North Memorial Parkway Nov. 10 at 2 p.m.
The appearance is in promotion of her newest work, The All-Girl Filling Station's Last Reunion, which hits store shelves Nov. 5. Kirkus Reviews calls the book "a charming story written with wit and empathy... just the right blend of history and fiction."
