Huntsville, AL (WAFF) - It should come as no surprise that Huntsville is among the most religious towns in America, a belief backed up by a new study published on the American Bible Society's website this week.
The Rocket City checked in at #9 in the poll, conducted by the Christian themed research company Barna Group. People in 96 cities across the US were asked about their feelings towards the Bible, whether they believed it was true, the word of God, and how often they consulted the book.
"We are continuously evaluating interaction with and views of the Bible among Americans," said Geoffrey Morin, chief communications officer at American Bible Society. "Knowing the Bible landscape across the U.S. is key to helping people engage with the most-translated, best-selling book of all time. Whether you are living in the Bible Belt, the Midwest, New England or the Great Lakes, the Bible speaks to the needs, concerns and challenges of every American."
