Huntsville interns present at international conference
Two chemical and bio-molecular engineering students, who interned at a Huntsville lab, will present an engineering management project at an international health care conference in England.
Doug Woodcock and Brett Taylor are attending Vanderbilt University.
The students analyzed a new screening method for drug resistant staph bacteria before surgery. Its called Tem-PCR and was developed by Diatherix Laboratories in Huntsville and the Kettering Medical Center in Ohio.
The conference is November 19-21 in Liverpool.
