Huntsville to go to next round for social media conference | News
HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF)- In a tight race against Cleveland, Ohio, the Rocket City came out on top in a nationwide competition to see which city will host a social media symposium.
The polls closed at 9 p.m., and Huntsville finished first with the most votes.
The November symposium aims to promote tourism and growth through social media.
The event could generate thousands of dollars for its host city.
Now it's on to the final round. That competition is Tuesday in a matchup against Missoula, Montana.
