Multi-vehicle pileup sends 9 to hospital, 1 in serious condition | News
HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF)- A three vehicle pile-up sent several people to the hospital.
It happened at Highway 53 and Stringfield Road in northwest Huntsville Friday.
Around 10:30 p.m. a truck rear ended a van; causing the van to then hit the car in front of it.
Police say a total of nine people were taken to Huntsville Hospital. Six of them were juveniles.
The driver of the car, Steven Lang who was hit by the van is listed in serious condition.
There were seven people riding in the van. Officials say they were returning home from a spring break vacation.
