HPD : Man broke into car wash multiple times | News
Huntsville Police have arrested a man they said broke into coin machines at a local car wash several times over the last few months.
According to spokesman Harry Hobbs, 37 year old Michael Cox is responsible for burglarizing the Keep Um Clean car wash on Memorial Parkway at least four times between June and August of 2012.
After the first break-in, the car wash was hit three more times, leading to a police detail at the scene. After two days of observation, Cox was caught red handed trying to break open a coin box, according to Hobbs.
Cox has been charged with Possession of Burglary Tools, Criminal Mischief 3rd-Damages to Business Property. Hobbs says Cox has a a history of burglary & theft charges.
