Crime Stoppers: Woman thrown from vehicle
News

HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF)- She was thrown from a vehicle like a bag of trash and left to die on the road. We're hoping you can help us solve this brutal act of violence in this week's WAFF 48 Crime Stoppers.

The victim is 24-year-old Jonnay Denise Cotton. Her mother said her daughter was thrown from a vehicle on Knight Road in Huntsville on December 23rd.

Her mom said Jonnay has been in and out of drug rehab for seven years and her street name is "Cupcake."

After spending a week in the hospital for her injuries, her mother said her daughter is now back on the streets, relapsing into drug activity.

Jonnay's mother told said regardless of her daughter's past or present, nobody deserves to be treated like this. In fact, her mom said, this is the second time in the last two years her daughter has been thrown from a vehicle in this same area.

Her mom is hurting for her daughter's addiction, but she's also hurting from this incident. Finding out who did this would be a huge first step toward her recovery.

And it could also mean a huge deposit into your bank account. You can phone in your anonymous tips to 256-53-Crime. There's up to a $1,000 reward waiting for you.
