A North Alabama company donated hundreds of Christmas meals to less fortunate families Friday.

Davis Lee Company donated more than 1200 Christmas hams and vegetables to families in the community.

The company has been donating hams for several years and said it is a tradition.

Employees went door to door and handed out the bags of food to the families in the community.

200 hams were distributed in Huntsville and 1000 were distributed in Guntersville, Albertville, and Boaz.
